Applications: Copolymers of 2-Acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid and AMPS with other monomers are widely used in textiles, printing and dyeing, plastics, coatings, papermaking, wastewater treatment, daily chemicals, leather, and oilfield chemicals. AMPS is used as a modifying monomer for acrylic fibers, significantly improving the fiber's spinnability, dyeability, antistatic properties, abrasion resistance, whiteness, and transparency; AMPS is used to prepare superabsorbent resins, improving the resin's ability to absorb salt water.
