Glass Cartridge: Generally made of Type I borosilicate glass. Offers excellent chemical resistance. Suitable for high-value drugs such as proteins, peptides, and biologics.
Plunger Stopper: Located at the end of the cartridge. Pushes the medication out as the plunger moves forward during injection.
Septum: Can be punctured by the injection needle. Maintains a sterile seal.
Aluminum Seal: Secures the septum, ensuring the seal's integrity.
The entire system forms a complete Container Closure System (CCS), ensuring the drug remains sterile and stable within its shelf life.
